New job awarded for Algeria
No.6 pre-casting long-lines, suitable to manufacture pre-stressed “MAXI-T” cross-section bridge-beams with max. height 2.100 mm. and 1000 ton. pre-stressing force.
The installation has been supplied by Olmet Italy on a turn-key basis, thus complete with all the auxiliary equipment required to manufacture such elements.
This job has been awarded to Olmet through “PERTA, Soc. de Equipamentos de Construção Civil Lda”, which is Olmet Italy’s exclusive representative in Portugal.
The installation will serve to complete the 31 km long motorway connection from Skikda port to the east-west motorway in Algeria, a huge project worth 218 million Euros, awarded to the world renowned Portuguese General Contractor “Teixeira-Duarte S.A.”.
